Opening in August: Pictorial Art Faculty Exhibition

The Natalie and James Thompson Art Gallery is pleased to present this periodic exhibition of recent works by current faculty members in Pictorial Art. The exhibition showcases the work of Lexygius Sanchez Calip, Irene Carvajal, Erik Friedman, Donald Feasel, Carla Fisher Schwartz, Mary Morse, Raphael Noz and Shaun Odell. Displaying a wide range of media, style, and technique, these exhibiting faculty members share an interest in working with pictorial media and a devotion to teaching. The exhibition will open the evening of August 25, 2026 and continue through October 9, 2026.

Hammer2 Gallery: Reflections

March 26 - July 16, 2026 The Hammer2 Gallery features a continuously rotating display featuring the work from local artists and SJSU alumni. This exhibition brings together the work of six artists: Dianna Masciarelli, Sue La Fetra, Vera Fainshtein, Megan Huddlestun, Clayton Moraga, Guna Leikind, Imara Osorno, Fe Villanueva, Alessandra Aquino. Working in a variety of media, including painting, printmaking, and drawing, these artists share an interest in their environment and turn their unique visions and sensibilities to the world around them, focusing on subject matter that ranges from the ephemeral to the monumental.
